Zajęcia nowych technologii dla seniorów poprowadził socjolog Wojciech Kacprzak. Obsługa smartfona, komputera, Internetu - tym zajmowali się uczestnicy spotkań. Seniorzy m.in. założyli swoje maile, dowiedzieli się co to jest street view, odkryli tajniki Facebooka oraz dowiedzieli się jak korzystać z translatora.
W piątek, 4 marca uczniowie klas ósmych ze szkół z terenu Gminy spotkali się z Błażejem Torańskim – współautorem książki „Mały Oświęcim”. Pisarz przybliżył uczniom przemilczaną historię o jedynym niemieckim dziecięcym obozie koncentracyjnym, który funkcjonował podczas II wojny światowej na terenach Polski.
10 marca w budynku Gminnej Biblioteki Publicznej w Dąbrówce miejsce miał niezwykły koncert, który zaprezentowali Artyści Filharmonii Narodowej. Słuchaczami byli uczniowie z klas IV Publicznej Szkoły Podstawowej im. Bitwy Warszawskiej 1920 roku z Józefowa.
Zajęcia choreoterapii poprowadziła terapeutka Żaneta Ryszawa. Zajęcia te były niezwykle rozluźniające, wesołe i uwalniające spontaniczność. Seniorzy uczyli się tańców integracyjnych, które wzbudzały dużo pozytywnych emocji. Ruch, taniec, śmiech, zabawa – tak można ująć w kilku słowach to co działo się na zajęciach!
Zajęcia arteterapii dla seniorów przebiegły niezwykle relaksująco i twórczo. Poprowadziła je terapeutka Katarzyna Widawska-Kiernicka. Każde spotkanie zaczynała krótka zabawa integracyjna, a kończyła relaksacja z czytaniem i wyciszającą muzyką. Seniorzy malowali, filcowali, wykonywali collage i rzeźbili w glinie. Warsztaty skłoniły ich do cofnięcia się myślami w przeszłość, do wspomnień, dały odprężenie, pozwoliły na zabawę, wyzwoliły kreatywność.
9 stycznia w Gminnym Centrum Kultury w Dąbrówce odbył się kolejny, cykliczny Koncert Noworoczny. Na scenie prezentowali się uczestnicy sekcji wokalnej oraz instrumentalnej działającej przy GCK. Zajęcia prowadzone są przez Justynę Sprawkę - wokal oraz Leszka kupca - zajęcia nauki gry na instrumentach muzycznych.
